My
Story

In 2012, I took a leap of faith and carved a path in the world of hair. My mom was my inspiration, being a hairdresser for over thirty years, and wanted to have a career I could be passionate about as well. Doing hair is my ikaji. Which is the Japanese word I stumbled upon years ago that is a combination of what I enjoy, what our community needs, and what (I feel) I am good at.

Being a stylist is more than just doing hair. I listen to your concerns in order to create a look that uniquely fits your needs, lifestyle, and enhances your best features. I value education and believe it's important to keep up with changing trends and techniques to help you achieve the style you're going for. When we get done with your hair and the look of joy on your face once you see the final look gives me ultimate satisfaction.

When I'm not in the salon, I'm working on making memories with my husband and two daughters. I have an affinity for all things macrame and thrift shopping. In my spare time, I also enjoy camping, reading, crossword puzzles.
